New Delhi: The Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) intensified its campaign against the alleged NEET examination paper leak and irregularities in the CBSE on-screen evaluation process by organizing large-scale protests in Bengaluru and Hyderabad on Sunday.

Despite heavy rainfall in Bengaluru, a significant number of citizens, students, and activists from various organizations participated in the demonstration. Noted actor Prakash Raj also joined the protest, standing alongside demonstrators while holding a flower as a symbol of peaceful resistance. Protesters, carrying umbrellas amid the downpour, raised slogans against the Central Government and the Union Ministry of Education.

The demonstrators demanded the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, alleging that repeated irregularities in the examination system were jeopardizing the future of millions of students. Student organizations and youth groups also took part in the agitation, urging the government to take immediate corrective measures to safeguard the integrity of the education system.

According to organizers, the Cockroach Janata Party has conducted protests in six cities across the country over the past nine days, seeking accountability and transparency in educational administration.

Sonam Wangchuk Addresses Gathering in Hyderabad

At a separate protest held at Dharna Chowk in Hyderabad, social activist Sonam Wangchuk addressed participants and clarified that the movement is not aimed at forming a political party or securing positions of power.

“This is a movement to awaken society against the injustices faced by the youth and students of our country,” Wangchuk said. “We envision an India that is free from fear and hatred, where every citizen enjoys equal freedom and opportunity.”

He further stated that the broader objective of the movement is to strengthen the foundational structures of India’s educational and administrative systems. Wangchuk added that a detailed roadmap outlining the movement’s future course of action would be prepared and shared in the coming months.

The protests reflect growing public concern over examination-related controversies and highlight increasing demands for transparency, accountability, and reforms in the country’s education sector.
